You can specify that MacPing test individual devices, ignoring all the others. This might be useful when you have narrowed down a problem to one or a few devices. Testing only the suspected devices minimizes the amount of traffic that MacPing injects into the network, and also stresses those devices more, since MacPing doesn't spend time testing uninteresting ones.
Select (click on) the name of the device(s) to test. To select multiple devices:
ΓÇó Click on a device to select it;
ΓÇó Shift-click to select a continuous range of device;
ΓÇó Command-click a device to change its selection (select or de-select it);
Click in the trace area or below the names to select all devices again.
You can choose Select All to select all device names. Choose Invert Selection to toggle all the device's selection. This is useful for testing all but a range of devices. Select the devices with Shift-click or Command-click, then choose Invert selection.
